Laura
I'm Laura and I am a self confessed geek that has taught science for 20 years to the future geeks in Scotland and England. I have a passion for supporting the community with being a scout leader and Headteacher and I am now ready to support the community in a different way. My skills as a mum and a headteacher bring a professional head to meet Emma's creative head!
Emma
I'm Emma and I have worked in a variety of events and entertainment positions. I haven't always been a full geek but have grown into it with help from Laura and her family. Being a mum and working with families I know how important it is to have a support network and I want to bring that support to the people in my community. I am the creative one that softens Laura's professional school mind.
Meet the rest of the Team
The Family
Laura and Emma's families have been close friends for over 7 years. The two families spend a lot of time together, walking the dogs, playing board games and going on holidays. Our favourite family board games include Colt Express, Tsuro and Ticket to Ride.
Lola
Lola is Emma's Labrador. She is 2 years old and her favourite thing to do is to chase a ball. Lola's favourite food is EVERYTHING!
Winnie
Winnie is Emma's Romanian Rescue Dog. We are unaware of her breed but she looks a lot like a Corgi. Winnie is 1 year old and her favourite thing is ear scratches.
Penny
Penny is Laura's rescued Greyhound. She is 11 years old and loves nothing more than to spread out on the sofa and relax. Penny's favourite toy is her pheasant teddy.
Torvi
Torvi is Laura's Romanian Resuce Dog. She is 2 years old and is very fluffy. She loves to be outside and enjoys running up and down the garden at full speed!
Floki
Floki is another of Laura's dogs. He is also a Romanian Rescue and is a very gentle dog. Floki enjoys playing in the garden with the other dogs.
Willow
Willow is the newest addition to our team. She is very friendly and she loves meeting new people and getting lots of fuss. Willow is training to be an assistance dog.
Our Games
Everybody in our two families love to play games! Between us we have a collection of over 100 Board Games and we are always looking for upgrades and expansions.
