Sunday Opening
We have very exciting news! We will now be opening Sunday's 11:00-18:00. Check out our new opening hours on the Home Page.
Late Night Opening
You asked us for later opening hours and we listened. We are pleased to announce that we will now be open 11:00-19:30 on Wednesday's and 10:00-19:30 on Saturday's.
Now Open!
A massive Thank You to everyone who came out to support us on our opening day! The cafe was really busy and there was a lovely atmosphere. We will now be open full time, 09:00-17:00 Monday-Saturday. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Grand Opening
Super Exciting News! Cake or Dice is opening this Saturday, 03/06/23. We invite you all to join us from 09:00 to check out the games, meet the staff and have some cake. We have a full day of events including a children's cosplay competition, phtographer, face painter, entertainment, character meets, live music and so much more! As an extra bonus, the first 50 people served will receive a free goody bag and all Cosplayers will get a goody bag also.
Lots and Lots of DIY!
We have been making good progress in the shop, with lots of painting, decorating and DIY! Check out how things are progressing here in our video. We are full steam ahead, working hard to get ready for our Grand Opening on Saturday 3rd June 2023!
On a Roll!
We have been very busy over the last week and renovations in the shop are on a roll! We are full swing into getting the kitchen fitted, lots of DIY and plenty of painting too! We can't wait to show the transformation to everybody and reveal our Meeple Wall. Check back soon as we will be announcing our grand opening date in the next few days!
In the Shop
Saturday 29th April was our first day in the shop and what a very busy day it was! We spent the day pulling down walls, taking up flooring and doing lots of cleaning. Located at the Mcmanus Gallery entrance to the Keiller Center, Cake or Dice will be a large open space offering good food, cakes, drinks and lots of board games!
In the Papers
Wednesday 22nd March was a very exciting day for us. - we were featured in the Dundee Evening Standard and online in The Courrier. The responses have been brilliant with lots of people very excited about our project. We even got a shout out on TayFM! Watch out Dundee, here comes Cake or Dice!
